My brother was headed home after plowing a filed on his grandpa's tractor to just see if it would still run. On the road he was about to turn in our driveway when some lady speeding in her Lexus forgets to break and runs in the back of him. Throws him completely off the tractor and passed out other side of the road. Called 911 (of course)rush him to the hospital.....he gets a couple of scraps, internal bleeding in the brain, which will heal on its on, and a broke hip. I just thank God up above that he made it through this horrible accident.
He's lucky to be alive!

I hope that lady got a wake up call that she needs to slow down and pay attention! I am glad your brother is ok. That had to be one heck of a shock to be hit like that! This hits home because we live on a farm and i am cruising the roads on a tractor a good bit and this will be in the back of my mind the next time i need to hit the road.

Oh yea, and how's the insurance of that lady? Being as that's an old tractor, you might need a lawyer to make sure everything is taken care of, medical, replacement cost etc etc?

The Tractor may be repaireable. I know Matt(her brother) will want to rebuild it since it was his grandpas. They do have a lawyer and they have a lot of witnesses to the accident on their side. Lady didn't even care about Matt, she was just screaming her head off about her car 
.There will be no brain damage at all...just a little swelling. Lexus was totaled. The retard SHP didn't give ANYONE a ticket. 
Even though it was entirely her fault. She said that she didn't see him although he had 3 lights that were on on the rear of the tractor. He's at Wakemed right now, and doing fine, should be home by the weekend.
