Whats up guy's,

I just moved to NC from Colorado, I not a hardcore 4 wheeler but I enjoy romping around the trails and back country camping. I'm looking for a good place to do both, I living in Roanoke Rapids for a while witch is 8 miles from the virgina boarder off of 95. I've seen your posts about tellico which is like 400 miles from me

where do you guy's go on the eastern side of the state?

Uwharrie National Forest is in the center of the state. Nothing hardcore, but some parts could initimdate a newbie. Definitly worth a look, free camping on the trails, or there is Arrowhead Campground.
Without mapquesting it, I 'd guess 3 hrs from you. Near Eldorado, NC, or Troy if that doenst show up.

Dontoe, I have met a few of guy's over the years on the trail, I recall romping past most of them up heart attack hill in the pouder canyon
