Hello to everyone, I joined this site a little while ago to see what was up with some NC 4x4's. I've had my 2000 WJ for several years and now that its paid off, the fun starts. I got my 4.5" lift installed Jan. 2.

In the next 1-2 months I'm adding
Luchbox locker - Rear Detroit EZ locker (already have, just not installed)
Rock Rails (Carolina Rock Shop?)

nice, how do you like those destinations? i had some on my last jeep and LOVED them. once the tire pressure was lowered, they just stuck to rocks like glue!

looks good man

Rockslingin- so far the Firestone's are nice. I got them after hearing several people say the same thing as you. I haven't had them off-road yet.

yager- I use the jeep as my DD/weekend wheeler, so I try to wheel with more brain than right foot. I know my jeep isn't nearly as hardcore as most of the rigs on here, but it does pretty much everything I want it to. I've been careful and lucky enough to not have any significant body damage as of yet. Rock rails and some F&R bumpers should provide a little bit of protection.

As Stankoma noticed, I've already wheeled the WJ several times on its previous lift and 31" TrXus tires (Tellico, UNF, & Beasley Knob). The gas tank got bashed in during my 1st trip to Tellico. I've got some plans to raise the gas tank ~6-8" and make a beefy skid.

are you going to make diassemble this WJ also? :flipoff2:
Looks good man.

LOL, you drove almost an hour to remove what? one castle nut on the DPA? But, you did get a free Hi-Lift out of it so quit yer bitchin'

Jody, I'm gonna pm you with links to some write-ups for flipping the WJ's draglink & raising the gas tank. Let me know what you think.
