Looks good but if you do any wheeling that will rip right off

x2...when I was new to wheeling, I mounted mine on the front...I banged it on every thing. Then I mounted it on back...I still banged it on everything. Hi-lifts are tuff, but not meant to be a bumper.

And..if you have any flex at all, you will need to somehow tie/strap the axles to the frame when you jack it up. You will run out of jack, before you get the tire to lift.

Ive seen them mounted up on the cowl. That seems better.

been looking at the cowl mounted option too but I dont know if I want to look at it everyday since I daily drive mine.

There is all kinds of rear bumper w/ jack mount and tire carrier options available, that keeps the jack up and out of the way.

A little pricey but worth it.

Yeah well obviously. . .by looking at the pic. . . those are 31x10.5 tires with no lift. . . that jeep was my DD. . . i have a trail rig as well. .. here is the ZJ I built and the hi-lift

On a TJ I'm a fan of the cowl or behind the seats on the floorboard.

I have the 68" hi-lift so I'm having problems deciding where to put mine. It's too long to go horizontally in the XJ. I have to get it up high if it's going on the outside because I'm hard on my rig. I don't want a roof rack because well, I'm hard on my rig. I've been thinking about putting the 4xRAC inside long ways on the roof, but then that might get in the way of passenger seating and not to mention it'd be a bitch to pick it up and bolt it in. Only other option I can think of is 4xRAC on the outside roof; mounts reinforced with some steel plating.
