So i know most of you wont give a :poop: about this, but my brother decided he wanted to start messing with his first car and we blacked it out. guess we all started messin with our rides @ some point 4x4 or not.

getting the windows tinted, and of course some black rims next week, and spraying the headlights a coat or 2.
 
yeah ive done some darker. all it does is tint the lens. the bulb and reflection comes from inside the light. works the same as window tint (u can see out but ppl cant see in)
 
Car

It would look awesome if the car wasnt a gay focus lol. The skull and crossbones Front tag just doesnt fit the car. But a Rainbow Tag on the front woulda been perfect lol

its spray tint from any parts store, about $7 a can and hes 17 so a gay focus was all he could afford detailing cars @ a ford dealership making min wage. the grill will look different when the headlights are painted, windows tinted, and black wheels....

It looks pretty new....so he must be makin a hella lot at a dealership detailing cars :) He cudda bought a jeep :)
 
Prolly used and since he's an employee I'm sure they gave it to him at cost + fees. At least that's what Young Ford did for me when I worked there eons ago.
 
nah not hilbish, keith hawthorne and its used and got it for like $5k

well he likes watchin/ridin my jeep and beating the :poop: out of it, so one day ill teach him
 
I almost rear ended a tacoma yesterday with the tail lights done like that. I had to run off the road. I really wanted to beat the hell out of the guy.

Agreed. But he's just a kid. Gotta play the hand he's dealt. My first car (1988 Ford Tempo) was an ugly, wimpy little piece... but that didnt stop me from tinting the windows and putting a tape deck in it.

Please tell me he's going to paint the INSIDE of the headlights. A lot of the Tacoma guys at CustomTacos do that with their XRunners. Looks cool, and its cheap.

Just a thought... since he has an in with the dealership he should try to get some SVT or Rally Focus stuff. Wheels, front bumper, etc.

yeah ive been trying to talk him into getting svt body kit for it.... bad ass

Where did you get the Spray Tint?I can't find it anywhere around here.Do you have any Spray tips?I used to do that to my cars like 12 years ago but the spray tint always came out really nasty looking.
 
i did it right there in the driveway. bought the spray tint from autozone masked off everything and went at it. the only key is dont spray too wet. spray real light coats until you reach the desired darkness. it helps if you rough up the lens first too. grey scotchbrite, steel wool or 1500-2000 grit sandpaper usually works..
 
i got scared when i saw the title! thought someone was gonna put full widths or something under a focus! lol
