Haha. Mine don't usually require diagnostic! Honestly, I don't have a suggestion. Cook can rebuild it though. Might do the diagnostic also.

what kind of problem is he having?
i'm not in charlotte but i can most likely tell you what's wrong with it.

Hey Guys, Travis, Lee! Lee,this is the Ranger, I pm ed you while back on. 95, I think. Got the filter, fluid, & modulator,changed. All were bad. I tried to adjust the bands, per your instructions, as best I could.
Laying under truck, on jack stands, is not much room. Got one of the bands adj. pretty good, but couldn't tell if it needed it. The other one, was so bound up with rust, I don't know if I actually made any adj.
Shifting first 1 or 2 gears,seems crisper, but 3rd [I think] still slips, shifting. My Buddy, just backs off at shift point,& lets it change. You mentioned a servo, but he/we think it's time to let a pro, check it out.
