How about that Peyton Manning???

Ridiculously awesome finish to the game. I turned it off at half time because I thought it was already in the bag, then turned it back on with 4 minutes to go and was pleasantly surprised. Hopefully, this season will be the beginning of the end of the Patriots band wagon.

He was completely and utterly outplayed by Tom Brady.

The Colts were outplayed by the Patriots, and the only reason they lost was because of one of the worst play calls I have EVER seen.

The Colts are ONLY undefeated because until tonight, they did not actually have to play (go check their schedule, only 3 teams with winning records, and most of those records are barely winning...).

I hate the Patriots as much as the next guy, but that was absolutely their game, and they lost it on a play call that almost makes me wonder if Bellicheck was high.

As the saying goes...you play every game for the opportunity of the 3-4 plays that will make a difference. And how can you say Tom Brady outplayed Peyton? Brady was 29/42 for 375 and 3 tds and Peyton was 28/44 for 327 and 4 tds. Ands it's not like the Colts are playing slouch teams, and obviously they were good enough to beat the Pats tonight. As for the play calling that's debateable, but Bellichick more than likely let his arrogance/confidence play a role...I mean how difficult has it been for his teams to pick up a yard...not to mention the fact his defense wasn't stopping anything. Sure you can say it was a dumb call now...but hindsight is 20/20. Had the play gone as anticipated, it would have been hailed as a brilliant move and only added to his legacy.

I can not agree...Peyton is not surrounded by the weapons that Brady is. Colts o-line didn't give him the time Brady had, his rookie receivers dropped a ton of balls that hit them in the hands, and Peyton only had around 50 yards less passing than Brady and Peyton threw 4 TD's to Brady's 3.... Oh and Peyton won by the way.

yea, for the receivers brady has compared to peyton...minus wayne....peyton has less to throw to. QB's BOTH played like they should have. randy moss is rediculous. i have no issues with the call. the way peyton was moving the ball the last quarter on the pats defense....is probably the reason they went for that ONE yard on 4th down. doesnt seem too dumb to me....just happened to not work. i gaurantee if they punted peyton would have moved it right down the field anyways. its not like he had 20 seconds. he had TWO and a half minutes.

either way, great game glad i didnt go to sleep! also glad the pats lost.

on a side note......steve smith, two TDs and jake, no picks!

20 hall of fame quarterbacks were polled on which qb was better. the results were something like 13 votes for manning and 3 votes for brady. the rest refused to answer.
the pats played better for much of the game last night but manning came through when it count.
