i think i got the ford 9" on the rear. The diff doesnt have a cover on it..... and it looked like the picture for the ford 9"... now i gotta figure out what i have on the front. The cross ref didnt have the number, 603808-9. I might have to double check it.

most likely you have a dana44

yeah, dana 44 is the closest thing ive found. if i were to change it out, what would be a good change to get?

Only one choice really. One ton Dana 60. Other choice would be rockwells.
A dana 70, dana 60(with 35 spline carrier) or a 14 bolt for the rear.
