So, I'm cleaning out my desk, and low and behold, find a nice huge bag of Jelly Bellies waaaay in teh back of a drawer.
Hm, I seem to remember getting these around christmas about 2 YEARS AGO.
Sitting in a paper bag... not air-tight or anything.

Any votes? Worth keeping? Couldn't help trying 1-2, fairly firm but not completely hard...

Did I just score a stocking stuffer for my wife??? :smokin: :D :huggy:

do they ever go bad?

That's kinda what I was thinking. It's sugar gelatin encased in hard sugar...

Go to Wallyworld...buy a Wrist Rocket (high-powered slingshot) and terrorize the neighborhood cats w/ them! :D

Well, so now there is more to this story.
I swung by work today and grabbed 'em and brought them home to munch on the drive to my folks' place.
Walking in the door w/ arms full of stuff, bag slips out of my hands...
Crack! Bag explodes on the nice hard smooth laminate floor.
4 million jelly beans scatter everywhere, with the sound and feel of a bag of barbles.
You wouldn't believe how far and fast nice hard small little jelly beans will scatter when dropped from 4' high onto a smooth hard surface. I have a feeling I will still be finding them in weeks to come.

Doh! Now I have 1/3 of a bag of jelly beans (the few that did not evacuate from the bag) and many have that rippled cracked look.
But... THOSE are still pretty tasty!
Wife enjoyed snacking on them in the car.
And... no, she DOESN'T read here....

Use the ones that evacuated as cat-munition.

Matt
