Well if there were only 1....

maybe my left nut for the G Lee

If I had it to give I'd be hard pressed to pay more than 125K for a quality built "re-creation." With 65K in parts I can't see any logical person paying that much for this car, now the 800hp Cobra roadster that sold at Barrett at least that car is a one of one.

I was a little surprised, when they were talking about "most famous cars" I would expect "Kit" to be near the top.
G Lee is no doubt #1 though.
Damn I hope the horn has the actual tuned Dixie one 'cause a stocker would just make it lame.

I wonder if anyone has one of the original Trans Ams used in Smokey and The Bandit?

I'd much rather have one of those.

Which one?

When it comes to movie cars there isn't a one "real" car that is actually used on set and then for show. The Smokey and the Bandit series cars from 77-79 are getting hotter by the day, we just finished one displayed last year at SEMA for a customer. If you can find one, buy it.

well what they were saying, is that this is an original car from the show, that was owned my John Schneider, and that is what made it worth more... plus apparently he has hopped it up some to 4wheel disc and over 700hp... either way, waaaay too much to pay for that car IMO

Yea, I think even he was surprised by how much he sold it for.

well thats what you do when you have way to much money...u blow it...that must be nice!!!...lol...however if i had the money lol i would go for the original BIGFOOT but i dont so im just gonna sit here and dream some more

Driving down 11W towards Knoxville (from Kingsport/Bristol area) there is a gas station that has a wrecked General in front of it.
Pretty neat, I about stopped and took a picture.
