Well got up this morning was going to get started on installing my new spring bushings on my commando .Got dressed threw my dickeys work jacket on and headed outside .I then realized it was cold as hell .So I go and get the heat turned on in my 16x14 shed . Go back inside put warmer jacket on ,jack up left side of commando and remove front spring . Everything is good so far "or so I thought " . I go into the shop /shed more of a storage building then a shop .Start to remove old bushings ,take drill and drill out rubber .Then cut and knock out metal sleeve ,sound simple right well I pull out my mid sizes hammer and punch to knock out the sleeve .First hit goes ok well I draw back and WHAM! I hit the knuckle and index finger a little sore no big deal .Well installing bushings I needed a bigger hammer so I grabbed my 3pound sledge . On my third swing to knock the bushing in I hit the same spot .This time with a 3 pound sledge .Well I said a few choice words and drove in .I started to work on the second spring .When knocking in the bushing on the second spring I hit the same spot with the 3pound sledge again .After that I stopped for the night and My index finger is turning purple .

I thought I would give some of you guys something to laugh at

For driving out the old bushings, just use your air chisel/hammer. Faster, and no busted knuckles.

Here it was as cold as a witches....

I know the answer to this one.... Just don't hit the same spot!!!lol:flipoff2:.
