how to get a hinge to move

just got a tailgate for my cj and the hinges will not move. what is the best stuff to get them to work?

i soaked mine in PB blaster a few times then used a hammer and they broke free

Heat and PB Blaster

soak it overnight in clr
then spray the crap out tomorow with pb or kroil

clr will eat at the rust and the grease should flush it out

The CLR sounds like a good idea! Never thought about that one.

If pb doesn't work I've used brake fluid. Works pretty well.

Try putting a torch to them, a littel heat goeas a long way
