this is just one of my problems , but while at ure i was sweating like crazy from the exhaust heat coming thru the floor of my truck, whats a good insulator that some of you are using??

you can wrap the exhaust with exhaust wrap but then it will collect moisture in there... do you still have the factory carpet in there?

If there's enough room between the pipe and floor pans use some sheet metal and exhaust clamps. Position the sheet metal on the top of the pipe and "roll" the sheet metal down about a 1/2" bigger than the pipe diameter. Not sure how effective it will be but look at the heat shields on converters they keep a lot of heat out of the vehicle.

I use old "carpet squares" under the rubber floor mats in the cj

The fenderwell headers are great in the winter...but "hell" in the summer...

...keepin' the cooler full of cold... (water...silly)... helps a ton

... and at the end of the trail....a frosty brew
