Anybody watching this? (Discovery)
Neat show, but I'm gettin a bit pissed at these guys driving a buggy all over the place testing out off-camber stability etc... basically testing to see if it will roll... not only w/o helmet but not even a harness, no safety equipment at all.
maybe I'm a nerd but just leaves a bad taste
 
Someone buy these dudes a bender.

This show sucks. I gave it a shot tonight, but i doubt I will watch it again.

i thought about that too. straight lines everywhere, but then again, straight lines deflect balistics better.

Isn't this for some kind of mining company? Hence he was so pissed about the height being 2" too tall.
Which, btw, led me to believe he dosn't know much about typical 4x4 buggies... seems there's a ton of ways to fix that... simplest being slihtly smaller tires, or just adding suck-down winches for when in tight spaces.

Oh BTW those military vehicles w/ the big RDECOM logos - that's who I work for ;-)
 
ive been watching both new shows on discovery monday(motor city motors) and howe and howe tech. i dont think they are doing there companies and justice. watching these shows dosent make me wanna buy anything from them.
 
Motor City is just a remake of Monster Garage.

the half hazard "mom and pop" operation is sorta the new in thing. they think that's what brings the ratings in. same model with axe men. they added some lunatic swamp man to the like up. and they are really doin a hatchet job on the fellas at bowmen gray.

it all stemmed from Orange County Choppers, they think that just because they got big ratings from paulie and the fellas always arguing that every show they do ought to follo the same model.

too be honest, after the first episode i lost intrest. see above post. i just flip back and forth to see if anything cool gets built. i have no idea what it was being built for..i just assumed it was all mil spec law enforcement stuff.
 
The little one man tank they showed last week was awesome, "the badger" it could drive through a house, down hallways etc.

Haven't seen this weeks episode yet though, sounds like i'll be dissapointed.
 
ok..i saw a re run of last nites episode, but i missed the beggining......are they running a GAS engine in a MINE?
 
maybe on mute it would be endurable. but in general it sucks. I would rather be hacking on MY pos than watching them yell at each other. FAIL
