Hub getting hot?

My drivers side hub is getting really hot unlocked just driving it in 2wd, I had to drive it home A few weeks ago in front only cause I bent my rear driveshaft. But that really should not have affected it, but anyway any ideas?

clean and inspect/replace the wheel bearings, repack with good grease, install new seal then properly seat them and set preload. hot bearing isn't good, it's either dry or not properly loaded.

May also wanna check that your brake calipers aren't sticking, that would build up heat in the hub as well.

Bearing has been in, it must have got dry some how, if that is what it is.

Yeah, I guess I have wheeled the grease right out ot the bearings
