Honda buggy build

picked up an eclipse,2.0 DOHC with aftermarket header,5 speed for a rear engine single seat toy.
4 wheel steer,toyota axles,30 spline chromo's ,hydro,somewhere in the 95-100 wb range.tires unknown(40 LTB's?:bounce2:)hopefully the 5 speed will hold up.LOL
haven't started ripping into the built yet ,but soon.
not sure about links....unilink/mono link or 3 link?any thoughts?

The five speed is not what I'd be worrying about.:D
 
gathering parts for now,,
picked up:
2 drive shafts
the donor car,93 2.0 DOHC,header,5 speed(remainder of car will be crushed by my toyota after i get what i need off of it.:popcorn:)
tires/wheels
two steerable toyota axles
1 set if 30 spline chromoly axles
seat


ran the ratio threw a cal,and will due 1.52 MPH @ 800 RPM's
1.95 MPH @ 1000RPM,s

after i gather some more parts:shocks,orbitol,2x6 ram hiems etc
i will throw everything in a blender and see what comes out..LOL
 
I'm sure it will go alot faster as soon as I get him some money...lol

finally got the 93 eclipse wanted to check everything out before i pulled the donor motor/trans etc.
Car was idling rough.after checking about everything i found that the water pump was dieing out ,which is driven off the timing belt,therefore it jumped time.nothing to worry about,didn't hurt anything.I was going to replace the belt anyhow.

After sleeping on it im going with the honda driveline.



i have to build a couple cages for others then i will get started on this project.
picked up an orbital,and 2 piece drive shaft.
getting closer with the parts,still need air shocks 2x6 ram,2 11/4 heims(will get them from RIDES)
BEARD shafts is going to assist on the hybrid eclipse/Toyota shafts/flanges.thanks Landon
this should be a fun build,i cant wait to get started.

im definitely not going to use the mitsubishi motor,still up in the air which make of drivetrain I'm going to use,would really like to do a honda.


Mike,i havent had time to do too much mocking up or planning yet,been so busy with other stuff,but as soon as i complete other projects i will get started on this.
