Ok hope fully some can help me. I'm building a 79 gmc jimmy I'm doin tons and 42s and I currently have a bad power steering box. So do I replace the box and do the hi steer and cross over or suck it up and do a full assist.

And where would Bethesda best place to get a kit

Any help would be appreciated

really pretty simple,

Get a chevy "p" pump from a 86 +1 ton truck.

Take your steering box & have it drilled & tapped for hydro assist.
Go here---> http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/HydroAssistTap/index.html

Do the redneck power steering pump upgrade.
Go here--->http://westtexasoffroad.homestead.com/powersteering.html

Go to your local tractor supply & get the hoses fittings & cyl. weld to axle to the cyl bottome out on each side @ full lock. (you don't want your cyl. pushing past your box stroke) You will need to figure this on your vehicle.

Done....
