I-40 closed 2PM 07/27 by RDU airport - truck crash and fire

Sounds like our main bypass here this morning. 31 was closed because of a forest fire that smoked out the highway and caused multi car crashes in both directions. They closed the highway when a fuel truck that was involved spilled fuel which was somehow picked up in the moving smoke. What a clusterfuck.

They have pics up now. The semi truck is burned to nothing. There is video, but I can't see it at work.

Ive got a friend that works for the local PD, gist got off the phone with him he sad that was a bad crash, like two dead and others left bad off.
