i finally brought a complete 427 tall deck (running engine) , and the guy through in a complete (but needs rebuild) 366 (with forged crank) in with the deal. 427 is running but i want to hot rod it out.

so i have 3 sets of chevy big block heads complete, that i want to sell.
2 bb forged cranks(top quality)
one 366 with a 4bolt main(all tall decks came with four bolt mains)
another set of 4 bolt main caps (for anyone wanting to convert a block to a 2 to 4 bolt main)
and after i try to sell all this, im hoping it would cover some of my engine work and heads
tall deck manifold, with 427td stock carb 4barrel(carb needs some refreshing)
--any tryin to buy as lot, email me what ups..i know all this aint cheap, but we can talk a price.i know the cranks go for 150 each, block would sell for 100, caps are worth something, i have three sets of heads that are worth something, so whats up??!!
i live in jacksonville nc.

ANYWAYS
since the 427 td weighs a lot already i kind of wanted to buy of aluminum heads. but i dont know if the brands on ebay are any good. or if i should stick with merlin or darts heads. what do you guys think is the best heads to get some good horse power at a decent price? or if anyone have some for sell.
thanks.

Check out Wheeler performance products for heads as well as competition products. They tend to carry house brands as well as all the major brands. Wheeler even lists the cfm of the heads in most cases. And they have everything from street heads to stuff that can support 1200+hp engines. The house brand are normally pretty good deals.

As far as the stuff for sale, list it in classifieds and it will get alot more wanted attention, and alot less flame....

A good friend of mine just built one with Brodix heads last year. Its now a something like 540CI scare the hell out of you motor in a stock appearing '62 chevy truck. He didn't cut any corners with his and it turned out absolutely awesome. Good luck.
