I found my weak link

I have been beating on the Xj for quit some time. normally I am the guy people call when they are stuck. I go and jerk them out and then go home. Things break and you upgrade. well today I found out the unibody was my weak link. So now I am gonna find me another Unibody to build. I honestly thought that the 4 bolts holding the hitch on would rip out before this happened.

Any possibility of plating the uni-rails and welding up a new piece for the rear? Might as well as you can, if you build another unibody, the same will happen if you don't plate it.

I actually acquired a 2 door today. I may go ahead and try to plate it. Theres not much room in there to work with. I think all it would do is move the weak point elsewhere. I think it is kind of random that it broke there. I figure the bolts would shear first. Live and learn where the weak point is. I have to admit it was a hard pull/jerk though.

That's why you hook the strap up to the axles instead of the bumper!! (or get something with a frame)
