I showed Lina. She said " not another chipmunk!"View attachment 288271 Bobby and my girls stacking the first load.
Brooke was helping, but Maycee threw a log on her finger and broke it.View attachment 288272
With Brooke sidelined, I replaced her with random kids from the neighborhood. View attachment 288273 View attachment 288274 View attachment 288275
No chipmunks. Her rabies shots are still up to date. However she did get a new tetnis shotI showed Lina. She said " not another chipmunk!"
No...SO the free wood wasn't "free"??
That's what I thought. My dad retired two years early due to bad knees but he gets the "free" woods also.Cuts, loads, unloads, splits, carries and stacks, then spends two days on the couch trying to get over it.If you play your cards right you can get a truck load of seasoned wood around here for as little as $35 delivered and stacked.I don't understand why he don't do that.No...
Doc visit copay
Bobby is on payroll
Had to buy lunch for 8 or 9 plus drinks and snacks.
AND...Brooke still has to take all the kids to Sweet Frogs as a thank you treat.
Truth be told, I dont even heat w/wood. This is all for my dad. His 30 year old furnace crapped out. A new one is not in the cards. He likes his woodstove. (Another shout out to @WARRIORWELDING for patching up his wood stove, hopefully it's good to go another couple years) I told him I'd keep him in some wood. But....damn. When it's cold, he really goes through the wood fast and I'm learning that I have a lot of wood cutting in my future. That's what I thought. My dad retired two years early due to bad knees but he gets the "free" woods also.Cuts, loads, unloads, splits, carries and stacks, then spends two days on the couch trying to get over it.If you play your cards right you can get a truck load of seasoned wood around here for as little as $35 delivered and stacked.I don't understand why he don't do that.

Yeah, but theres some value in a hard days work, spending time with pops and teaching these kiddos good work ethics. Other than Brooke's finger..we all had fun too.at some point is gotta be cheaper to buy it.
Ran over your lawn mower with the Jeep.No chipmunks. Her rabies shots are still up to date. However she did get a new tetnis shot
So..not to call my wife a clutz or anything, but in the past 18 months she broke her ankle walking down the big hill at the Winston-Salem dash baseball game, whiskey throttled my dirt bike into the side of the house fracturing her wrist, and now a broken finger. Probably other random injuries I'm forgetting.
But I'll say this..Shes a trooper! She never shies away from hard work or activities that probably alot of other women would never attempt.
That was our niece.Ran over your lawn mower with the Jeep.
I agree and some folks just plain ole like to cut/split wood,my FIL is one of em.For me its just make more sense to buy BUT I have plenty of other things on my plate.Yeah, but theres some value in a hard days work, spending time with pops and teaching these kiddos good work ethics. I bought a couple loads last year and was dissapointed( pissed, actually) at the amount received v/s the hundred bucks per load I spent. However, it was delivered and stacked, so that was cool.
