I hate buying car tires

Bah, this sucks. I just got to the point where I was getting ready to install my new heads/cam/intake on my 98 Trans Am and I got to looking at the tires and they are worn slap out.

275/35/Z18s are not cheap. :poop:

I never minded buying tires for my trucks, but for some reason I hate buying tires for this car. Maybe because they wear out every 15k miles and they cost enough to put some nice parts on the car.

Who knows. I gotta convince my wife to let me use some income tax refund to buy tires so I can use the rest of my money to buy other stuff. :lol:

I can only imagine how this is going to turn out. :lol:

Wow, so you're complaining NOW about the price and pain of tires?
two diff sizes of directional tires = no rotating them. Hope your alignment is spot on!

Does that work w/ 2 sets or 2 tires, different sizes?
 
Leith Toyota in Raleigh. Any tire we can get from our primary vendor is applicable. I bought a set for my DD during our last sale. I Found them cheap as crap on Tire Rack and did the price match, paid for 3 (had a $50 mail in rebate), and made out like a bandit.

The Sumitomo HTR ZIII's compared well against much more expensive max performance tires, and are $180 each at the tire rack.. I ordered a set for my t/a to last me this season.
 
We've been selling the Sumi's and Tempest (Sumi re-branded) for a year or so. Great luck so far. They balance right and wear as true as much more expensive tires.
