Food Lion had Sundrop on sale. Regular price is $4.99ea, they marked it down to 4 for $11($2.75ea). Cant beat that. 42 cases for $115.50+tax. Regular price would have been $209.58+tax. Saved almost $100. I drink about 6 cans a day so this should last me almost 3 months. I got some pretty funny looks at the checkout line.

Yes I know my kitchen floor is dirty.
 
You should see the barrels of cans I have out back that are all full from my Sundrop habit. I'm waiting till scrap prices go back up first though. :D
 
If you really need/go through that much, I'd think you could find better deals buying in bulk.
You think this is an expensive habit? Our son is waaaay small/underweight for his age and drinks 4 cans (ideally) of Pediasure a day as a suppliment. That shit is like liquid gold (seriously, oil is cheaper).
We buy it by the case and whatever large quantities we can, and save tremendous amounts that way (from $11/6 down to $6-7 per 6. Stil lwould be cheaper for the little bastard to smoke, though... ;-)
 
Do you have any idea what you're doing to yourself by drinking that stuff as much as you do? You might want to talk to your doctor about it;) Sundrop=Liquid crack:lol:
 
I used to be addicted to Sun drop as well......dont stop or the headackes will hit for about 3 days. Im scared to even look at a bottle or can now. Looks like you got a good deal though.

I believe it is on sale through tomorrow. All types were on sale. It wasn't in their ad, I just discovered it when I walked in.

Sale will run though tomorrow. The only thing is whats on sale at one Food Lion isnt always on sale at all Food Lions. Here Sundrop is distributed by Coke, so it goes on sale with Coke products. In the next town over, its distributed by Long Beverage, so it goes on sale with Cheerwine. (Not to mention when we have Coke on sale the next town over has Pepsi on sale, or we sell the turkeys for 67 cents a pound and they sell them for 59 cents a pound, etc........)

ridiculous for at home use.. although very cool none the less :fuck-you:.. however i did lose like thirty punds by giving up soda.. but if i didnt i would definately be supporting the addiction right along with ya!!!:beer:.. yeah and that addiction too lol..:beer:
 
I know a couple guys now that are Sun Drop addicts. It seems to be a southern thing (well considering until recently you could only buy it down here anyway). I never did find that one soda to make my favorite, I drank more Gatorade than anything. But cut out the Sodas and Sports drinks, just water and diet green tea now. I miss the sweet stuff. :beer:

Yeah, one kidney stone and I gave up all soda, and really increased my water intake. Be careful...
kidney stone = man giving birth!

2 liters! usually less than a dollar each. since its cold outside, just keep them in the garage and theyll stay cool. that saved me alot of money.

Possibly I'm just picky but it doesn't taste the same coming out of plastic. I like my cans but there's nothing better than an ice cold Sundrop in a glass bottle though.
