SO.. I got this Honcho that I really wanna get runnin. I have a spare servo and a Rooster ESC. I will probably steal my radio and reciever out of the Rustler for now. All that's left is a motor but I know squat about electrics.

My crawler had a Tekin 55 turn. It had torque but no wheel spin. The Wraith has a 20 turn plenty of speed but no torque. I wanna be somewhere inbetween. I'm looking at Integy 35 turn.

Will the Rooster work good with the Integy? Am I beter off buying a matched set?

I'm open to suggestions

Cool, I'll give him a call Monday. I've been to Hobby Town in Hickory but they don't have much of a selection.

Seriously, that place SUCKS. Went in there for shock towers for my Honcho and they didn't have em. Pretty sure they did but the guy was too lazy to look. Apparently the Axial parts are "hard to get to"

I've not called him but I did check out his on line store... It sucks and it's too far to drive.

Looks like I'm gonna get the one from e-bay.

check out rccrawler.com theres lots of info on crawlers on there... im running a 35 warrior handwound, if ur wanting a badass motor and can afford to spend about 40 bucks check out holmes hobies.com.. he makes some of the best handwound motors available...

i put a traxxas 12 turn titan in a crawler, with a 12/84 gear, plenty of torque, wheelspin, burst speed with a top speed of 9 m.p.h. could do doughnuts at least
