I have an 86 k20 that has had some of the worlds most uncomfortable seats put in it. I don't know what they came out of but I'd rather have the stock bench than them. Anyway my question is I am wanting to put a pair of buckets or nice bench back in it and was wondering if any of you have ever swapped anything in or rode in one that had some swapped in. It is a tow rig so comfort is key. I went to junkyard today and sat in a bunch of stuff but nothing was comfortable in 95 degree weather with broken glass in my ass. Thanks for the input and suggestions.

those don't sound to comfortable considering one is ripped and been sitting outside which I am sure mean the foam has deteriorated and gotten not so foamy by now.

yeah I looked for some at junkyard today didn't see any with interior left. Ill have to try different yard next monday

Their free man. Might as well right? You could at least use the bracketry. I have seen em, their not in too bad of condition and they are right on the side of his house so the elements dont get to em too bad.

He said in his post he didn't have any of the brackets.

how about corbeau , mastercraft or some other seat manufacturer. Are they comftorable?

Oh....I didnt see that. Oh well.

I have Corbeaus in the Baja style. They dont recline which i sometimes miss but they are comfortable as hell and keep you all nice and snug

well my truck is reg cab so reclining is not necessary. I was wondering how comftorable they would be for a 6-10 hour ride.

My Bajas (Fat Ass version) are nice, for a rough ass trail ride.
They would never be confused with new comfortable upholstery though.

I thought someone had the interior out of a Tahoe and maybe a Durango both on here recently.

Im too lazy to search parts for sale...but I think there are at least 2 options there for you.

thanks for the input I'll search for those. I agree I thought although nice on the trail that the corbeau would not be as comfortable as seats out of a newer vehicle
