I need to borrow a big hammer drill

Gotta drill about 30 holes in my foundation, and my 5 amp Milwaukee just isn't cutting it. Anybody in the Charlotte/Gastonia/Hickory area got something cut out for it? Probably needs to be a SDS or spline drive to be beefy enough. Its a 5/8" bit, 6ft long, drilling about 6-8" deep. Free is preferred, but I can pay a small rental fee, or trade labor.

Hauser Rental should be able to hook you up for about $40. High, I know, but it's the quick option.

I think you can buy one at HF for about $60, it should last at least long enough to drill those holes.

Yeah, I saw em on sale in the most recent ad for $60, but I've only had marginal luck with their stuff. I can buy a good used one on Craigslist for around $100, so if I came down to it, I would probably go that route.

I've get two big dewalts. Both kinds of splines. Bit of a drive, but it won't cost anything but the gas to get here to borrow one of them!

have fun with drilling those holes. i had to drill 60 holes through 13" of solid granite last week with our bosch hammer drill. fun fun fun
