I guess we need to print some: "It's a Toyota thing, you wouldn't understand" stickers...

i don't think the rear bumper is orginal, nor the wheels, and that looks like a 2 wheel drive bed but could be worng about the bed. it was nice but 8,500 i d rather have a tacoma.

Yea, and it's the truth, not like "That Jeep thing" cause I understand it and that's why I drive a toyota.:flipoff2:

Damn nice truck!

the only 24 year old yota i can think of that would sell for $1500 less than the original price!
but it does look good makes me want my terd i had back.

Here's what I love.
Purchased NEW for $10,166 in '83.
Sold on eBay today for $8500 - which in today's $$, is about 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of a similar truck NEW, yet is what, 86% of the paid cost.
Gotta love inflation.

Holy resale value batman!
Very nice truck, definetly jealous of whoever has that one, but I would never pay that much for it...

Yeah no kidding!
Just looked up the NADA price for it. Whoever got it over paid by a good 6g's!
but i guess when you want something that bad, you gotta have it.:shaking:

having all the original hoses, belts

Shouldn't these things have been changed at least once by now? 23 year old hoses and belts don't sound like a winner to me.

^^ agree. Dryrot anyone?
Although, if it was cranked/ drivven infrequently but on a regular basis and didn't just sit for many years, prob not so bad. Esp being in CA.
I wonder if it's the original brake pads too. You can bet the brake shoes are. Wonder how many times the brake fluid has been changed?
