I had my truck before I started my business, and before I bought it someone had Line-X sprayed in it.
Whoever sprayed it did a TERRIBLE job. On top of the normal Line-X fading/marbling it was peeling up in spots. I had sprayed Al's over it, but whenever the Line-X peeled it pulled the Al's with it.
It really started looking bad (especially after spilling epoxy floor paint on it twice ) so I decided it was time to tear it out.
Spent about 3 hours on it already and am almost done. I started with a hammer and chisel around the edges which knocked it right up, then broke out the big guns. I grabbed the crowbar and went to town. I had the bed floor ripped up and done in 15 minutes.
All the little bumps and dips in the bed sides make it a bit more challenging, but my crow bar is making fast work of it. I need about another 15-30 minutes before it is all done.
Then I can spray a nice thick coating of Scorpion on it and have something that looks like it should.
The best part was the straw wrapper that I found under the bed liner. How the hell did that get there?
So if you ever want to get out old bed liner - bust out the crowbar!
