This is getting out of control.

Here's the newest one. 1952 Dodge Job Rated. I just picked it up today. I am ready to start ripping into it. I worked on it for about an hour. I was able to get it to almost start. It kicked a couple times.

I'll have a bunch of pics when I get it all cleaned up.

Here's a couple to wet your appetite for now;

I've worked hard on the International. It is my daily and will be unless I sell it. The Dodge I just plan on giving it a good bath and get it mechanically sound and enjoy it for now.

It might, just might get the same type of treatment as the IH did. I really like a utilitarian truck. I would love to use the truck through all types of weather. I really like the Dodge body styling.

Dear Lord, please don't sell that truck - that thing is badass!!! Hate I didn't get to see it at the CLT show - you need to at least keep it until our next M&G.
Nice find on the Dodge as well - looks to be in really good shape. Look forward to this project...

You have cool old stuff, that is all. A little jealous here, lol.

Sorry about putting this in the wrong forum. I get easily confused.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I have a guy that is seriously interested in the IH. If he buys it the Dodge will undergo the same treatment as the International. I have got to have an old work truck.

Thanks again.

Yep, keep the international. What a hoss of a factory truck.

Nice '52!!! I love those old underrated Dodges.

If you come across a set of doors with good windows and regulators or a tailgate for one of these please let me know. (I figured you may be parts hunting yourself)

Brings back some fond memories!
My Grandfather bought a brand new Dodge truck in 1948. Pretty much the same as what you have except for the bed is a little deeper on yours, and IIRC, the 48 had three windows on the rear of the cab. Flat head 6, that would squall the tires( I was 16 when I drove it) Starter button in the floor. f; long gear shifter. I always had to park on a hill so I could roll it off. When the starter got hot, it wouldn't crank. Had a couple of dates that had to help me push it off to start it LOL.
I remember the seat had some holes in it, and the filling in the seat was straw of some type.
I was pulled so many times in that truck because it came out with one tail light.brake light. No signals, Although my GF had some after market ones put on.
There was the original owners book with the bill of sale inside. IIRC he paid something like $837. for it....NEW!

Nice Dodge. I'll keep my eyes open for you. I actually won't need any body parts so what I find I'll let you know.

Thanks again to everybody.

Oh my God- That International is GORGEOUS!!!!

The Dodge looks to be in really good shape, nice find! They are nice little trucks, one of my buddies is restomodding a 49.

I love that International though..... drool!!!!

I pressure washed the Dodge today. It really is in good shape. Who ever prepped the body for paint did a poor job, especially on the front clip. The rest of the paint hung on well.

I plan to have it running tomorrow. Then onto the brakes.

Good news!

I got it running yesterday after I replaced the points, condenser, cap, rotor and coil. Pulled the spark plugs and they are new. The crazy thing is the tops of the pistons are bright aluminum which blows my mind. I'm wondering if the engine has been rebuilt. Man, that would be great.

What I have to do;

Repair or replace the gas tank
Rebuild the carb
Replace the fuel pump
Rebuild the braking system
Repair a ton of wiring

Once I get this stuff done I'll be driving in style.

Can't wait!

So jealous It's not even funny.

Question

Bud, your International is beyond awesome!!!!!

One question, do live in Mt Pleasant? Just curious. I live in MP and see you in the International all the time, but I never can get a chance to stop and tak.

Thanks for the pics!

I live in Concord and scoot through there all the time. What do you drive? I always check out the lifted trucks.

Thanks for the compliment man.

I'm guessing this is the Dodge you were talking to me about tonight. It's a sweet ride also. It was nice talking with ya.
