Alright, need some advice. I have a terrible shimmy in my wrangler and I cant figure out where its coming from. Its only felt in 3rd, 4th, and 5th gears when under a load. Various RPM and speed has no affect. The shimmy stops when the clutch is in. Only when under a load. No wobble in the driveshaft. Motor mounts and tranny mounts all are good. And the vibration is not felt through the shifter, only through the steering and dash area. Any ideas? Also you can take rear drive shaft out and drive in 4-High and the shimmy is not present.

And we can count these things out because we have replaced them: Clutch and Throwout Bearing, Rear Diff (Replaced the whole rear axle), Rear Drive Shaft, and U-joints.

The only thing left is the Transfer Case, Right?:driver:

Without knowing much about your vehicle my first guess is drive shaft angle. If you have more then 2" of lift you need a Trans drop or SYE.
