Milwaukee has a recall on batteries mfg'd between '99 and '04. I sent some back in 2007, when the recall first came out. Cleaning the shop, I found a couple more that I had set aside, and fell under the recall...so I got 2 brand-new batteries on the way.

sweet! all of my 14.4 Millawaukee batteries are shot! Most are late 90s so I hope they are included in the recall
