As of 2:45 p.m. eastern time this afternoon the Rescue Tellico Coalition EA response letter generator had generated 170 emails in support of Rescue Tellico according to RT Committee head Jay Bird! The Pirate 4x4 letter generator has generated approximately 600! Hello? There are almost 10,000 registered users on this board alone! Are you people that lazy that you can't take 5 minutes of your time to help our sport?

Done. Write some damn letters, get off your ass and do something or dont you dare bitch and whine about what is was like in the old days that you did NOTHING to preserve it.

Also FWIW...Virginia Foxx's office is in Clemmons Nc, right behind the Waffle House.
It is easy to drop in, and possibly talk to her in person. I left a note with a secretary, who promised she would recieve it. Just a hand written 50 word note opposing the closure of The Tellico OHV system. I was in the area, saw her sign, and wrote it in the van, took it in and dropped it off.

I actually got a response from one of the Senators in relation to the letters I wrote. It was not from the Senator himself, but it was from one of his aides. The aid gave me a generic thank you but did say specifically "your letter regarding the Tellico OHV area." So everyone keep it up!

Have sent 2, but not from the generator...everyone keep the pressure on.

FWIW PBB has 142k members and has sent 600 letters or 1 per 237 members
If NC4x4 has generated 170 out of 10,000 that is 1 per 59 members....not where we want to be for sure, but statistically a better response.

yes but 95% of PBB dosn't have Telico in their backyard

Any way to estimate the "active" membership here? # users that have posted in say at least the last 2 weeks?
