Any of you bought one? While sitting around my son's birthday party yesterday afternoon some other dads and I were tossing around the idea of buying a slide for our group. Between the 4 of us we have spent $1300 on slide rentals the past 2 months. I haven't researched them too heavily yet but from my quick search, we can get a good one for $2000ish. Anyone have experience? We wouldnt be looking to rent it out, just for our own use.

I looked into it myself, but after having to manhandle one myself when the guy had to flake but let me go to his house to get it. Nope! It’s worth the cost.

Why would you NOT rent it out!!!!??? What else are you gonna do with it?
Just use it amongst our group. We each use it twice and it's paid for itself. I don't want some pissed off Karen calling me when the blower burns up or they forgot to close a zipper and the stupid thing won't blow up and I have to quit what I'm doing to go close a flap.

We had two slides over the years for our kids. But of the smaller variety you purchase at the end of summer in the clearance aisle of Walmart for $200.00.

Our kids had a blast on them for several years.

But you’re talking about the big industrial ones.

I’ll say this, if you do get one. Toni to Home Depot and get their MASSIVE Husky storage bins with wheels and a handle. I don’t recall the size, but it was $99, and you could easily fit 5-6 dead bodies in it.

The guy at HD on Brassfield in Greensboro told me that a local bouncy house rental came in and bought them out one day to store and move slides and bounce houses.

That’s all I got for you.

P.S. found it. 170 Gallon

I thought this was a long sheet of black plastic on a hill? Garden hose and a little dawns dish detergent if you feel lucky.

If you buy it, make sure one of the other families keep it at their place. a friend wanted one and it was used, but when not in use, that om big ol pile of of "in the way"!
That's why they sold it. ALWAYS in the way, and got extremely dirty and they would have to wash it before every use.

And dead grass and a pissed off dad afterwards

I'd be all for this if I had a hill 🤣. I'm in the coastal plain. I've got about 5ft elevation change across my whole 26 acres.
This is only a small challenge requiring rope and a gasoline motivated inertia building device! Flat does suck.
@RatLabGuy I forgot a lot of folks prioritize green grass over some wholesome fun. A yard freak I definitely am not.

I've got 10ft of fall from the front step to the back patio, and another 20ft of fall from the back patio to the shop!

I'm less than 5 miles from him and have 20ft of fall across my front yard 😂. I swear we bought our property right on the Fall Line.

You pretty much did 😂. It crisscrosses the little river in our area. The front of a friends property is sandy loam tobacco land and the back is on the river and the hills and ravines look like the mountains. All within maybe 500yds.

blow it up, baby oil it and have your way with the wife.
