Hell, as many construction sites that you drive through in a day (that last forever, too), at least these barrels actually drew your attention! Driving down Hillsborough St yesterday, I saw a self-important, import driving, dweeb too busy talking/texting to stop at 2 red lights IN A ROW!

Argh! Rant over.
 
my first thought when i saw the pictures b4 i read nething was "man he could get in a lot of trouble for f'in with those cones!" LOL
 
The company I work for is doing all the paving on that job, that's probably one of the most unique things I have ever come across on the jobsite before.

I thought it was very cool. Some thought went into it. Wasn't just some hate bull shit painted on the tunnel wall.

[My wife has 1 more semester at state so I hear all about drama in the 'free speech' tunnel ..]
 
i just read in the paper that the company whose cones they were didnt care, they kind of liked the "monster". according to the N&O article the DA didnt see much of a problem with it either, he commented that "rearranging them, legally that doesnt sound like larceny". looks to me like some over zealous cops are wasting time and money worrying about stupid shit while there are actual crimes being committed.
 
Thats pretty effin sweet. Entertaining to say the least. Arrest was overkill but that shows Raleigh police need work if they "cracked the case" on this one.
 
That looks awesome! I think it is a good thing and could be used as free advertisement for the company that makes those cones. They should offer him a job as their advertiment guy.

the RPD is pretty bored right now, most of us State folks are at home so they cant ride around and write us underage drinking tickets an pester us for having our music too loud after 11pm.
 
that ought to be the SHPs "slow down in a construction zone" mascot.
