Some times I get assigned some interesting jobs.
Today I was assiting on a repair on this.....
Power by a Cummins 4BTA, I believe and Allison Trans, and a Rockwell drive axle. No brakes is a bad thing, it had blown a wheel cyl on the drive axle.
The track wheels have air brakes, the rear is air over hydrualic, had to do some digging to find the master cyl tucked up infront of the cab, wasn't easily seen.
Also has an issue with the road axle still having power to the drive line when the road wheels are up and it is on the rails.
Seems a 90° angle on a regular Spicer joint ain't a good idea.
The drive coupler that disconnects the drive shaft has a broken shift fork, so it doesn't disengage.
