intermittent hazard lights:

I have been having an issue with my 98 Cherokee. This isn't really a serious problem but I want to fix it none the less. I have been told that periodically my hazards lights will come on either while sitting at a light, making a turn w/ blinker, or pushing on the brakes. I have not seen it of course because we only have one car and if it's on the road I'm driving it. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or if anyone would know what the problem is and how to fix it.
