Introductory shock tuning Special

Gather a group of rigs for better pricing and the entire group must run the same brand of shocks. The less rigs we have to analyze the more tuning you will get personally.

All prices are paid in advance and in full by a group or individual in time to order parts before set test and tune date.

All prices are subject to change for travel time expenses.

We advise that all coilover customers bring as many extra springs as possible.

Check out the Website, it is under construction.

I know this is probably more dedicated to the C class guys...But I have a couple of questions.

To David..
What kind of difference could a tuning session make for my cherokee? The front has air bumps and radflo emulsions...the back...well, I need shocks for the back which brings me to question 2

To Profender...
Do you guys carry short body tunables for the rear( stockish location) for a cherokee? Or should I just cut the floor, add some shock hoops and go bigger?

Actually I'm glad you said that.

Let me get one thing straight so everyone knows.

This service is directed towards the entire off-road community.... From the smallest weekend warrior jeep/tacoma etc. to the baddest race rig. Anyone can gain from this as long as they run rebuildable/tunable shocks

To answer your question: You would greatly benefit from a tuning session. From what I understand, you out drive what your jeep can efficiently dish out on a regular basis. What you need to try to work on is getting your suspension to soak up the hard hits and the fast bumps for a more controllable, predictable driving habit. I'm not telling you to change your driving style, most everyone likes the way they drive. I'm trying to make you understand that you can make your jeep work harder for you, instead of you working hard for your jeep. You will be driving the same but you will be going faster. I've watched you race once or twice, and this would be like Goody's Headache Powder to your jeep. Not to mention the people in it.

When you get some good shocks on that rig and let me do my thing, I'm positive everyone will notice the difference on race day. And after, well.... you'll probably go home and read the Bible....Twice:D

so, if 3 of us got together, could we go all in at $250 per car? i need some shocks first....

i've got no experience w/tunable shocks. would we need to get different valving or oil or other parts beforehand? no idea how valving is changed.

Yes, $250 each for 3 cars....

You don't have to bring anything but tools to work on your rig. And you don't have to bring oil or valve shims. I will have everything we need for the shocks that are there. That is why we are starting this thing with everyone paying in advance.

All you need to know is how to take the shocks off of your rig and put them back on and Drive. You don't have to know :poop: about shocks. That is what I am there for.:D

I am not racing Devil's Playground, but I will be there. Whoever wants to tune on pre-run friday needs to get it lined up like NOW

Any and everyone with coilovers, air shocks, etc will greatly benefit from a tuning session. And $250 is a very reasonable price, especially considering the time and knowledge David puts into it. That price is less than one coilover.

I need to get another session lined up soon.

Profender Shocks???

Bring me up to speed on the quality and durability of these Profender Coilovers. Are they reverse engineered Fox or Kings? Before I bolt a set on my prerunner and head to Baja with them, I sure would like to hear what you guys have to say about them.:bounce2:

I am not at my computer right now or I would paste the link on here, but look up the thread in general tech called profender smoothie run down. I haven't abuse tested them yet. But that write up is pretty similar to the coilover write up that I haven't done.

Thanks, David. I read that article and anything else that came up on a Google search. Hopefully someone can tell me they have xxx amount of abusive miles on them and how they like them. I will need a set of 4 pretty soon and the price seems too good to be true.

Either way, have fun in baja! Wish I could get there this year. post up a couple pictures of your pre-runner. I might want to check it out:popcorn:

Its in the build threads. I have a real prerunner that I leave out in SanDiego. This one is using an early Scout 800 body to give it some old school flair. Plan to go with a linked suspension and coilover/bypass. It is too short to be a perfect prerunner, but it is really intended to be an all around rig.
Did I see where you worked on the Amsoil pit crew?
