My dad was taking some of their product for underhood paint because they had a color that matched perfectly. Now he is unable to contact anybody via phone or email. Their website is still up but he asked me if I had heard of them going out of business.

Anybody know anything?
 
few months ago I ordered paint/gun/etc and received so as of few months ago they were good!
 
My experience in the years previous - they are a small outfit. Relying heavily on word of mouth and customers in forums to provide tech support. Their structure was so there was no need to talk to them. If your research of other users, and a paint chip sample order are not sufficient to answer your questions then they believe youre better off approaching a business that will do the work for you.

I very much enjoyed their chassis paint on my firewall and underhood

Yeah I guess my first post should be edited. My dad had ordered previously and was trying to buy more but had heard the rumors and was just trying to verify before he “sent his money to the internet”. (He’s old and doesn’t trust technology lol. Prefers to speak to someone for a purchase at least via email. )

Completely agree. I would be the same way.
Expressed my experience/knowledge to lend understanding of why he probably could not get through
Also iirc, their story is similar to a Indian vs Harley. I believe theyve made peace with it all, and just settled for the passive sales generated by 4wd Communities etc.
