my wife and i just moved here from minnesota, and would like to meet some good 4x4 people.

Im from Stanley, kinda between Dallas and Lincolnton. I go to UNC-Charlotte, so I live in Charlotte, but spend a good bit of time in Stanley and at my dads shop in Dallas. There are a few on the board from Dallas but I have never met any of them.
 
Bemidji, thats about 4 hrs. north west of the minneapolis. don't ya no. yeah sure you betcha. sorry thats not really how i talk.
 
Lincolnton is kinda between Hickory and Gastonia. Not too bad of a place I wouldn't think to live, mostly rural places. Small town kinda atomosphere.

Ah. I used to live in the Twin Cities. Went to the U and then the wife and I hung around for a few years and lived in West St. Paul. The winters here are much more tolerable. :)
 
lincolnton seems to be a pritty nice place. you get the small town feel with the city at your finger tips. it will be nice not to have the harsh winters. they get old. how often do you guys make it to telico?

I hear what you are saying. No more 10 degree(for the high) days. No more long winters staying indoors for 3 months. It is nice to be able to take the top off the Heap from Nov - March. It took about 6 months for me to slow down to the pace of life here but I don't regret it. This is perhaps the best state I have ever lived in.

I have yet to go to Tellico but I am hoping to make it out there in Oct if not sooner. Again, welcome. I think you will be pleased with moving down here. I know I am.
 
I'm about a mile from the Lincoln county line. I have close friends that have repair,inspection and custom exhaust shops in Lincolnton, I just helped one of them put new exhaust on a close to mint 440 'cuda Friday(yes I felt unworthy). Look me up anytime you need some help in the area, I know alot of people and I'm also a Yotaman-transplant from BFE PA:beer: .

Yeah, I'm in Lincolnton now, but would like to move to the Hickory area. I'm going to college in Hickory and working in Mooresville every day. Welcome. If you see a white TJ running around be sure to wave or call me out! Always looking for someone to wheel with.

Sadly, most of the time I'm driving my Prelude! As it gets warm the top will be off and short trips around town.

Well hidey ho! It just happens I'm in Stanley too. In case you haven't figured out yet, that's only about 20 minutes from you. Just head south on 27. You can't miss it. Ok, maybe you can.:D
 
do you guys plan on going wheeling this weekend? maybe we could meet up.
 
Im from Gastonia, just south of you on 321, wheel an 87 XJ and picked up a 87 Yota yesterday. Im in Gastonia most weekends and Ft Bragg through the week. Hit me up if ya wanna wheel sometime.
