I aquired a isuzu W45 today,cab and chassis,give me some ideas.
just dove tail it,flat bed?yup there will be a build thread soon.
throw me some opinions of what you would create with it.
im thinking of ramp truck style, and pull a trailer behind it,,2 rigs,or one and a camper
..has a 11,500lb rating,but its gas,350 tbi,,might dump my 400sbc in it

Dovetail with fold down ramps that when folded up make it a flatbed. Tool boxes under the sides. And a pop-up camper that extends from between the rails to fill the entire flatbed.

ramps are a cool idea,ya see them on long goose/5th wheel trailers, tool boxes is a must under the sides.ill have to measure the bed area,,thinking its only about 14,15 ft long.hate to extend the flat bed too far past the original frame which is already 3,4 ft past axle.ill post up a pick of the truck later today.

well got it home,,its a chevy tiltmaster(same as the isuzu),11,500 gvw.price was rite.tuned it up,still runs alittle rough, like mentioned, its been sitting for two yrs.

time for some good gas and seafoam, wash it ,vacuum all the pine needles from the inside. If it dont smooth out,ill do a leak down/compression test on it.no smoke(alittle black smoke),or noise in the motor.

I'd probably just go with a flatbed and slide out ramps. And if you have a good size Tag to pull with it, add some short ramps to the front of it so you can leave the trailer hooked and load straight over it. You know what the GCWR is? One vehicle and a bed will probably get you close to 11,500 if not over. When I did landscaping, a normal load would put us at 12k a lot.

Or just cut it up and throw it on some Mogs an wheel it haha. Make for one hell of a ride down a hill!
