Some of you are familiar with this rig, and the thread on CFSJC. To those who aren't... here ya go.

Back in the fall this happened:

With the idea of taking some junk out of the brown one, and putting it in place of some other junk in the white one. Got it? Good.

Let's see how that goes. Shall we? :flipoff2:

I think I have some J truck parts in the barn, Pm me if your in need I will see if I can dig up any thing, I know theres a Transmission and Transfer down there, Not sure what else.

Interesting to see how it turns out, I have always been a fan it the J Trucks.

Well, the brown truck came w/ a spare tranny and t-case in the bed. I've got the BW1339 on the bench in my garage right now; pondering a rebuild.

Both trucks have Dana 44's front and rear. The brown truck doesn't have buckets, sorry. It's a pretty clean interior though.

We'll probably be selling off a few parts this summer once we get it sorted out.

I'm an idiot. The brown truck does have bucket seats, such as they are. They aren't too perfect though. IDK what the plans are for it... I just wanted to come clean on my lack of observational skills. :D

BTW I'm diggin' the OEM gold wheels and the roll bar on your brownie.

Progress!!

Ha! the thing moves under its own power now... 8 months later. It broke back in November, and when we replaced the radiator and water pump it wouldn't start. Squirrels had chewed through the fuel lines.

So we replaced the lines and fuel sender a couple weeks ago. We put a fresh battery in it, and the dang thing fired right up! We were able to drive it around the yard a little... enough to discover the power steering is either broken or still in slumber.

Anyway, it runs again. One step closer to having a driveable rig. :driver:

Here's my baby helping grandpa work on the tank.
