Jeep buyers guide, help!

i have a jeep cherokee in mind that i will consider purchasing.

i havent gotten all the details yet, but its a 90's model, lifted on 31's.

what are some things i should look for/take note of in purchasing one?

any weak spots to point out?

The 91-newer models have a much better fuel injection system, better ABS, and better cooling. Other than that, they are all pretty simple and solid.

Look at what kinda lift it has. Look at connection points in the lift. Look at the doors to see how they close, and what kinda body lines they have. Tweeked unibody will give ya hard to close doors and uneven body lines.
As with any ride, check all the usual,.. mileage, fluids, ball joints, u-joints, tire wear, things that work/don't work
