Hello forum. I have a cj with a rebuilt 304 and rebuilt carb. The engine seems to be running great, maybe a little rich. The timing is right and the vapor and gas lines are hooked up right. That being said, after I park the Jeep in my garage there is a strong raw fuel smell that comes out of the carb. It is not the hoses, canister etc... it is the carb. Any thoughts on what this could be or how to fix it?

Carburetors are vented to atmosphere at all times to they will tend to smell like raw gas, especially when the engine is still warm and vaporizing that gas that is in the carb. If there are no leaks and the fuel isn't boiling out of the carb into the throttle barrels than you may not have an issue.
