I am putting a ford dana 44 in my tacoma and I heard I could run jeep springs instead of ford springs. It would help b/c my taco is lighter then a ford truck, about the same as a jeep and plus I think they flex more/ and you can get them longer. I am wondering if any jeep guys can help me what springs to look into and what spring perches I would use. I am wanting to run about a 6 to 8 inch lift. Thanks for all you help.:driver:

I have the 6" RockKrawlers and they gave me 6" and this is in my Cherokee. What are you doing for the front, radius arms or the 4 link style or even a 3? That can help determine a lot.

well its prob bout the same... but id look to see maybe what the spring rate for a set of 6-8" lift toyota springs for hte truck and get some coils that are about the same... jeep coils should work ok, and will be alot softer then ford ones....
