my buddy is wanting to lift his 93 grand cherokee, hes wanting to run 31s-32s. we were looking at a 2" spring spacer set up, would that be enough to clear 31s-32s? or is there another way to go about this with out cutting fenders? thanks

You need a 3 inch lift to clear 31's I have a 2 inch spacer lift on my wifes with 30x9.50s and its very close but doesnt rub but any bigger and i would have to trim

I have a 96' with Fat Bob's 2" spacers and I am running 31's with no rubbing. I'm not running stock wheels though I have 15x8's with 4" back space.

You can run any size tire you want at stock height, you just have to become good friends with the sawzall. With a 2" BB you could probably pound the pinch seam, and trim the front bumper cover and clear 31s. What is his budget for a lift/wheels/tires, etc?

fwiw I had rubicon 245/75/16(31's) on my zj with nothing but A 2" spacer lift and some trimming of the front bumper. Add some bumpstop extensions and your set.

Just depends on how comfortable he is with everything. My Nephew ran 33x13.50 Super Swampers on 15x8 wheels on a bone stock suspension '94 V8 Grand Cherokee. It never rubbed unless it was flexed out really hard. He trimmed very little on the fender where it's closest to the door and never had another problem out of it. That thing was rowdy as hell!

well its his DD so he aint wanting to do any triming, he isnt going to wheel it any so its just another mall crawler!
