i have a jeep wrangler tj and it starts fine when it gets warm. but when you let it sit for a while or over night it has to turn over at least ten times before it will start anyone have any ideas

maybe the fuel pump allowing the fuel to leak back into the tank or injectors leaking fuel into the cylinders.

I have that exact same problem with my 1995 Wrangler.

Check fuel pressure before you start when it's cold. If it's leaking back thru the pump it will be way low and you need a new pump.

Mine didn't start doing this until I replaced my fuel pump.So you think it could be my new fuel pump is faulty?

I have head this problem and it's been getting worse and worse. Now the Jeep just won't start.I sprayed starting fluid in the TB thinking it was just the fuel pump.It still won't start.I put a tester on the spark plugs and there is no spark when I am turning the motor over.Any ideas?Do they make a high output replacement for the little ignition coil? It's a 1995 YJ BTW.

check your crank position sensor (probably it). or the distributor pickup.
