I recently installed a 3.5" rubicon lift on my 2003 tj. I have a little driveline vibes so I'm searching for sye kits and drive shaft. Is thier any brand to stay away from? I'm looking at a advance adapters sye with a tom woods drive shaft. But I could get out about 80.00 cheaper with other brands. What do yall think. Thanks in advance.

AA gets my vote. I have never had any issues with them or Tom's d shafts.

Contact bigwheelbob on this forum for your Advanced Adaptors SYE.. Best price around for it.. and im sure the shipping should be cheaper

no issues...just paying a lot for Tom's name...
if you can stand the downtime...install the SYE, measure for your shaft and get somebody local to make you one...

Who do you recommend for a drive shaft this is my 2nd vehicle so down time is no problem.

I used a Rubicon express Hack-n-tap ($100) in my 99 TJ with from XJ drive shaft ($50)shortened by Olivers drive shaft in W/S ($60) and working great!

I went with a super short SYE from JB conversions, but Teraflex also makes a super short. I'd still choose this route again over the standard SYE. You improve driveshaft angle and length. Allows you to flat skid, get more survivable angle from your driveshaft, etc, etc.

The only downside is the tone ring speedo if you're not running a stock ratio. In my case I have 4.56's and 35's so I was ok without a signal modifier.
