Check your Lic. Plate Tag stickers, especailly if you've moved in the past year or two.

I moved last Dec/January and forgot to change the address with the DMV Tag office. Been unknowinly driving on Expired Tags since Feb. 06. Then uppon my move from W-S to Trinity, my brother-in-law was driving my ZJ while I was driving the Moving van. He got pulled over so I stopped too. My address was correct with the Officers computer. I realzed then that i'd not seen a Tax/Tag bill in sometime. Cop was suppose to give the ticket to my BIL since he was driving, but I asked him to give it to me instead. He asked if I was sure? I said yep. He clicked on the computer for a minute and found that he couldn't and told us Merry Christmas and get it fixed. Let us go with no ticket.

I went by the DMV and they had my OLD OLD address. OOPS! gues that explains why my CJ tag is expired too. :p $56 and my ZJ is good 'till Feb '08 now.

Two lessons, check your tags, and check the tags of vehicles you borrow from friends/relatives before driving them. :shaking:

Did you get pulled over again or finally decide to take care of it 11 months after the fact? :flipoff2:

You gotta admit... it WAS funny to see Jeremy get the blue lights... as we're all stopped on the highway! LEO probably thought the GG contained the "head Gypsy"!

It was funny but not nearly as funny a Galen smoking Jose on the side of 109.

If he hadn't felt like he had right-of-way...I would have let him off with a warning...but Noooooooo...he felt that a 8500# truck pulling a trailer with a POS CJ5 on it should stop and wait for his sorry ass to get off the highway...So yeah...I smoked him...

tags expire on 01/15/07 thanks for the reminder! Inspection too! made it to the DMV today. I probably wouldn't have noticed it until i got pulled sometime in the future.

Hey GK... I think what he's trying to say is:

1) He was too scared to take the skirt off that day and actually drive it...
2) His "nay-nay" was itchin'... BAD
3) And lastly, he won't need our equipment to move "Bounty" again... with emphasis on the AGAIN part!

[blatant slam + reminiscing]I was trying to remember the last time it made it out on it's own... URE 2004? Pretty sure I hauled it to the apartment from Bills... and then to the old house from the apartment... and you hauled it to new house... [/blatant slam + reminiscing]

:flipoff2:

SO I got the jeep inspected yesterday, and then about 3 hours later, one of the headlights go out! Now that's good timing

Don't know if this will help, but if the problem is corrected within 30 days from the date on the citation the state will take a dismissal on the charge. Works for both registrations and inspections. Depending on the county, you might get a dismissal beyond that if done before your court date.

2) His "nay-nay" was itchin'... BAD

Now that's funny, I don't care who you are, even if you're me.

guess I could sell it and have nothing to sit in teh driveway and make vroom vroom noises in....

The state sent me a friendly reminder about my inspection. I go out to take it to get inspected with a month to spare. Wouldn't you know it, the battery is dead so I have to drive it long enough to go through a cycle before getting it inspected. I was fortunate that I avoided the $250 this time by getting it done before Christmas.
