Thought I'd throw up some pics of my Terra that I've been DD since Jan. I just finished bobbing the rear 12 inches and will SOA it in the not so distant future. This one's gonna take over trail rig status eventually. Plans are SOA, rockers, cage, propane, & lockers. Probably swap out the close ratio T-19 for a wide, and pop in a twin stick D20 that I just came across in a parts Scout. Plans will continually change, as with all "projects". Here's a link to more pics and words - http://www.binderbulletin.org/forums/showthread.php?t=65619&page=1&pp=30. Hope you like - :flipoff2: .
This is how I got it last year:

And this is it so far - have to make a bumper next.

looks alot sweeter then when it first started out... haha if i keep comin round there too much, u and adam are gonna have me into a scout... if u run across one with a diesel let me know, ill be all over it....

u gonna leave the stock axles? maybe use the 60-2 in it? leavin the 4banger or goin with a 304/345?

I'll keep my eyes peeled for a diesel for ya. Right now I'm gonna leave the stock axles, as well as the 196. I'll run 36's as long as I can and see what happens. It's already geared 4.09, but I foresee a gear change eventually. I'll just wheel it and change it as I go. Don't want it to be one of those projects that is not driven till all ideas are finished:rolleyes: . I'm excited about it.

Looking good Nate. I think our neighborhood is the black hole of unfinished projects.

Hopefully I can turn that around - Gonna work on the rear bumper/spring hanger this weekend. Give me a shout.
Ben,
As far as the Bronco goes, I'd thought of selling it, but there's just too much good shit on it that I can use on the Terra in the future ;).

I like the bob!

Any chance you have pics of the bulkhead? A friend is looking at a '73 that appears to have bulkhead from a 1/2 cab, but now has what looks to be a CJ windshield/hinges attached (some bastardized "windjammer"?) and I'd like to know what the OEM panel looks like.

Here's a pic - let me know if you need more. They bolt in from the inside.

Are you going to cut out the rust on the bottom of the quarters?
Yea, I've got to order some patch panels from a company in OH. Once I get my rockers figured out, I'll weld them in. After all the body panels are back together, I'll shoot the whole truck back to original color. Got a buddy in Wilmington who is gonna help in that area.

I'm happy with the way it turned out. I like how it looks as though I will be sitting mid-rig now. Almost equal approach and departure angles too. I'm psyched:driver: !! Thanks for the comments.
