Bought a 2009 X on Saturday, Sunburst(?) Orange...

Have wanted a Jeep for a lot of years but never got around to owning one. With the prices, rebates etc the way they are, it just seemed like a great time to buy.

Not my first 4x4, but I am not a serious off-roader so it will stay mild.

welcome......define mild.....
Chris

No snorkels, no winches, no supercharger. I am not in to rock crawling or swamping so I don't need extreme articulation and I don't plan on doing the Hemi swap.

As for what I AM going to do....

Maybe some larger tires and a mild 1-2" lift. Thinking about a tubular half door just because I like 'em. I am working on some interior (lockable) storage mods.

I used to say the same thing about rock crawling until I tried it last summer, it is one of the biggest rushes you can do. I have always liked 4x4ing but I was all about the mud.

But then I went ot URE for the first time and played on the rocks. I now have a 4 inch RC flex lift and 35's in my Jeep 35's I will be ordering my winch this month. I can not wait for URE to open back up in april. All I can say is keep it away from the rocks or you will be hooked.
